If you actually look at the pic that started that rumor you can see that all involved are facing the same way as Obama so there is another flag they are all looking at. Also the reasoning Obama gave for not covering his heart during the national anthem makes sense to me.

Nothing there is misleading but Obama.

Playing of the National Anthem, the correct protocolis to have your hand over your heart. That is followed in the government, military and sporting events.

Considering he is a Presidential Candidate, he is aware of that protocol.

Maybe he does not know that.

Obama has an excuse for everything.

He did not know Bill Ayers was a terrorist. He did not know that Rev Wright was a racist even though he sat there for 20 years. Now he did not know his Aunt was living in a Boston slum and was a illegal alien.

He sure has a lot of "I don't Knows" for a man who wants to be President of the United States.

There will be a lot of voters Tuesday who will not know either.

Both the Mayan's and Nostradamus predicted 2012 to be the year of the apocalypse.... which would be right around the end of the next president's first term... (although none of those predictions were based on a specific person being the reason for the end - interesting nonetheless)
