im not personally but ive read on it before and found this

    1. CAT kit has rods and cranks that suck
    2. CNC motorsports has deals on overstock stroker kits
    3. your stock block can handle around/up to 600 hp...anything more and it becomes unreliable
    4. anything more than that such as a turbo, etc. i'd go with a DART block

hope this helps and good luck with the build

Well I have heard from a certain guy who is building a certain motor that they are good to 750 ish hp with studs and such. I'm sure with the occassional nitrous blast it would be ok but you take a risk. Course that dsepends on how much base hp your makeing then throwing the nitrous to it. Guess its a wait and see

And just plain gay Ford is a Ford and a Gm is a Gm. I don't believe in that cross breed shit lol. Want a chevy buy a chevy. Want a ford buy a ford and so on.

I have a late model 351W (91 roller), all the usual machine work, 30 over, with a 408 stroker kit. All 4340 internals, H rods, Forged pistons, All ARP bolts and nuts, studed everything, girdle. (high volumn oil pump, 7qt pan)
Built with TFS 205 heads, TFS runner intake, 75TB, 60lb injectors.
Built 3 years ago. With my Vortech SC and 8 lb of boost it dyno'd 585HP (RWHP) and 585TQ.
500+TQ for the entire length of the dyno pull ~3000 to ~6500

I have several 1000's miles on it now and about 50 runs at the track. Most being mid 10 second runs
(I've taken it to 7000 rpms and cross the finish line at 6800)

So if thats your goal, then I'd say it will hold together. I think good machining, matched parts and only high rpms at the track helps keep the engine together.
