Where you race at Rob? I used to race like 10 years ago in Virginia. Been thinking about getting back into it. I seem to remember there being some place in Bridgeville?

^i agree. Your best bet for durability is running an off road vehicle. I have a bunch of vehicles, I could sell 1 to you if you are interested.

Get a Truggy. They are sick and durabled for the price. I had the T-MAXX's. They were fun but I deened more so I got an OFNA Dominator. It was sick. Thats the week I dumped $3000 into a hobby that I played with in my driveway. My wife flipped out. HAHAHAHAHAHA

There is a hobby town right in Robinson by the ichiban restaraunt. Check it out.

I was thinking getting the rs4. I heard good things about them. I wanted to try a on road style since I got bored with the electric off road. Does anybody kno where to get the hpi rs4 cheap. Or does anybody have any for sale?

I raced a couple seasons on a clay oval in Winchester, VA. Pretty sure it was called Shamrock Raceway then. I raced in the "stock truck" class which was the electric stadium truck with stock motors. I think my truck is a RC10T2. I picked up an electric TC3 a few years ago, never really did too much with it. It would be cool to go race again, especially in the winter when there isn't much else to do.

+1 on ebay. That's where I got my last one and it was a pretty good deal. I would imagine they pop up on craigslist too every now and then.

Cool all you guys used to race..so did I like 15 years ago. I did 1/8th and 1/10th scale clay oval, electric buggy offroad,1/8th gas off road,1/10th and 8th on road touring, bolink legends class and some drag racing classes we made up at the hobby shop i worked at. HPI is a great brand to start..mods out the ying yang. traxxas has come a LOOONG way from what they used to be. But stick to those brands or the more comon ones like Kyosho,Tamiya,Schumy and the like...stay away from CEN and some of its other China built cousins. Ofna is hit or miss. The last r/c vehicle i had was a Tmaxx with a .26 conversion, ofna 2spd,Alien<now hardcore i think>extended chassis and roll cage and Proline big40 chromes wheels with spinners lol...it was a handful at WOT.
