    Stang vs Focus backspacing

Curious if anybody knows if the older 4 lug stang wheels share the same backspacing as the Focus?
Also would the bolt pattern match?

    Bolt pattern is the same.
focus is listed as 108mm and the stang as 4.25". Same thing.

hmmm....I bet there is some that would work, but the offset is not right. The Merkur guys use the focus wheels as an upgrade. Those cars can (and do) use the Fox Stang and T-bird turbo wheels all the time, but the offset is a little too much, so they will use the Focus wheels. The SVT Focus wheels are real popular with those guys.

That's actually what lead me to ask this questions.
My current wheels were originally on a Focus, then on a Merkur, and now on my Focus.
I just assumed a Merkur and Stang would use the same backspacing.
My wheels are 17x7 Sean Hyland.

Here is a random picture of one of the Merkur stock wheels FYI. I think you can see in the pic they arent as deep as something like a 10 hole or whatever. i think they are a "J" offset FWIW.

I know the Merkur guys were all over those wheels when they came out. I just hope the Merkur quirks didnt follow the wheels to your car, those are strange little machines :D
