    88 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe

I have a 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbocoupe for sale. 2300 FI Turbocharger with intercooler, Automatic OD and 4 wheel disc brakes.
The car is original and solid but the paint is rough. I picked this car up a few years ago and put maybe 500 miles on the car. I never got around to doing anything with it and I am tired of paying insurance on it. Buy it to restore or use as a winter beater. PA inspection until April 2007. $900 miles are 110500.

Still for sale. I just picked up a new turbo for the car. I will make a package deal with the Car + other Turbocoupe parts I have.
I have no time to play with this car. I will consider an inspected 85-86 Mustang convertible (v-6 or V-8) for trade.

if you decide to go the parts route im interested too. You could probably get more than 900 from available parts before you towed it to the scrapyard.

I hate to part this car. The car is too clean and solid for ME to cut up.

Since the posting, I have replaced the Turbo return line which was causing the coolant leak. One of the fans froze up and I replaced the fans. I need to find a Vane Air Meter for the car. That should smooth out the problem. Anyone have one for a 87-88 Turbocoupe?

The car is still available and needs to find someone who wants a solid driver or a potentail restoration. I hate just letting the car sit around. I do not have the time to play with it.

What would it take to get this ready for paint? Any patches needed, rust issues, floor pans?

The body is pretty clean. A couple of surface rust spots. The worst being on the right quarterpanel near the taillight. Paint is faded on the roof and hood. The underneath is real clean. You need to see it and make a judgement for yourself.

The car needs the Vane Air Meter changed before a long drive.

Consider trade for a shed or a motorcycle.
