FLip up head unit w/ screen

Hey i just got a new SUV and am looking to upgrade the head unit.

anyone have any indash touchscreens or flip up touch screens?

let me know what you got.

also probably gonna be looking for an amp to power two 12's

if its that mountaineer, i would go with a double din in dash dvd instead of a flip up we have a pioneer and it fits nice

Look for a Pioneer AVIC-D3. I have one in the Lincoln and I actually like it better than the new version I just put in the Mustang. I paid less than $700 for it new almost two years ago.

Not a problem. You can even run a backup camera with it. If I remember correctly there are 3 external video inputs.

its really cheap but it said it needs the trim? and a few other things.

Everything you need is there! The "trim" piece would not be used as you would use a dash kit anyways. Remotes did not come with them new, and you also do not need the "cage", again the dash kit takes care of mounting it.

As long as it works, has both wiring harnesses (which are both pictured) you're good. If the Navigation DVD's are F'd up, I can make you copies of mine if you need.

That d-3 is the same one we have in the mountaineer and we had it in our mark LT previously. youll love it

the only thing thats a pain in the ass is i think the subwoofer wiring, we had trouble finding the right adapter for it. the amp turn on uses a 5 volt signal i think
