i got that email from ford racing about this...this thing will be pretty cool i think. def something new from svt as it obviously focuses on 4wd. i still want to see another lightning tho

i thought SVT was done after designing the 2007 shelby GT500? can someone explain this to me?

ill explain it to you ford is trying to ruin everything just like they did by bringing over shelby and trying to sell the mustang at viper prices. I will never buy a ford again after the way they have been doing business the past few years and I have had nothing but Fords before buying GM now Mopar looks good to me

Looks pretty cool to me.

Dunno why everyone has to bitch just because SVT is developing something new. Oh knows! Its different! I dont like it! SVT should stick to mustangs because thats what I like!

They are a company trying to make money... if it will sell well and make a large profit, they are going to make it.

Sorry for the rant, I just think its stupid to be mad that Ford is still trying to make different performance vehicles for different people.

Wait until you see what AFR debuts at SEMA...

I for one like the idea of a 4wd performance truck as it makes a hell of a lot more sense to me as being a viable vehicle to own here. I like the lightening, but its not very practical. A 2wd truck is a waste IMO.

I agree completely. I wish they had done this a while ago so there would be used ones out for reasonable prices. I can't wait for some more info on this one

Could this be the truck ford has be working with FOX racing? I bet it is. I read something awhile back that they were looking into making Baja offroad racing truck with FOX Racing doing the leg work. MMMMM Sounds good to me!

what they should of done was just put the lighting on a awd chassis...

i think all this truk will be is a f-150 with a eaton on it and a svt badge and 4wd and 20k over sticker.

4WD is for hauling & farm equiptment. All they have now is the stinking overpriced shelbys, they could atleast make something cool at a reasonable price before building a truck. Thank god Mopar is pumping out some cool shit, im really disapointed in the direction Ford has gone in the last 3 or so years.

I really wish they would have made that SVT Adrenalin concept---blown Cobra motor/AWD/6-speed auto in a Sportrac Explorer. I definitely would have got one of those.

I'm gonna guess this is related to that Raptor prototype truck that some stuff was leaked on, but who knows.
I'd also guess this will have the new series of engine---6.2L SOHC 'Boss' or 'Hurricane' engine. Supposed to debute in the new F150s so this makes sense, maybe?
