I have known Woody for a few years. He has built my Mexican block 347 and has built the engines of quite a few of this site's members. Yes, he can build you a longblock or whatever it is you desire. Woody completely goes out of his way to make his customers happy. Give him a ring and you will see.
If you want a stroker and a blower, you really need to figure the cost of a stronger block into your build. Rick at RNH (he's a member here) built mine and he's semi-local. If you want a true engine builder you need look no further than him. Rick built my dart sportman block based 331ci stroker comprised of Scat 4340 H beam rods with ARP 2000 rod bolts and a 4340 scat forged crank that is internally balanced. I can't say enough about Rick, his customer service, and his knowledge. I'd never personally go anywhere else and I'd recommend him over anyone else in the business.

[QUOTE=gmkillr;138064]this was not what u stated u stated. u said if u want less power build a 331. that was what was stated. i simply stated that is not always the case. if that was the case lets take purestock on here for example he is making power with a 302 that some are have trouble making with a 347. i was simply saying cubic inches doesnt mean shit if u dont have the right parts to back them up. i wasnt spreading wrong info.

Well if ya want something of that nature why not just go with a 408. the 94 and up roller blocks with good parts are said to be rated to 750 hp. Not that you may want to push it that far but a mild build with a blower on a 408 would be some serious fun. I'm getting a lil 408(cough) built N/A off of fordstrokers.com. I think it is in the build line this week as a matter of fact. You asked if anyone has heard of Woody. I have and I know he is one busy S.O.B building motors for people. He is hard to get ahold of at times he is so busy. So, ya I think he does good work. Team that up with a Jay Allen cam from camshaft innovations and a set of Heads from Jay or TEA and ya got serious power. Just my opinion.
