    Engine block materials

    ok im doing a final paper in my materials class on engine block metallurgy, its basically list the pros and cons of 3 materials engine blocks are made out of. im at a complete loss finding any sources with sufficient information to write a paper. can anyone help?!

    look up compacted graphite, pretty cool stuff...Dart now offers this

    i used compacted graphite iron, Al-Si and some magnesium alloy, i had so many problems finding sources
