Its definitely a great idea if you're in the market for a nice HDTV on the cheap... I got my 52" HDTV for less than half of the price they were selling it for any other day... there were only 4 per store, and I was in line FOREVER! lol ... If you're going to wait in line though, atleast dress appropriate. I've waited in line the last two years. Two years ago it was for my mother - at Staples. I was all decked out in full hunting gear, being that it was in the 15* range.... then there's all these doofuses that come in only a windbreaker, holding a cup of coffee - and sit there for 2+ hours shivering like a f*ckin' idiot....
Last year to get my TV i had to be in line at 11pm for a 5am sale - but luckily it was at WalMart - which is open 24 hours, so it was nice and warm and cozy - even got to watch movies in the elctronics department while we were waiting.

I wouldn't expect it to be as good as in the past, this economy is absolute sh** right now. They just fired 7 and laid off 8 from my division at work this week (out of about 50 people) I was guaranteed not to lose my job, but yea, this is getting bad...
