My wife really digs those TT's and the Saturn Skye Redline turbo. I think for her next toy we will get the Skye though

Steering wheel is on the wrong side :D

The rear of that car reminds me of that little Nissan comuter car (Versa??).

I drove one of their turbo 5 cylinders in Germany last time I was there (rental). Really smooth engine.

Not a fan of the ass end, but other than that I love the cars. They sound sooo good. I seen/heard one in person when I was down at H20i in Ocean City a month or so back. They have tons of potential. Im also a huge fan of the stock rollers. The new Volvos/VW's have some sick stock wheels!

oh my god your name is in your signature?!?!

The first pictures I noted as the european model - hence wrong side drive and the single exhaust. The rear is a love/hate affair, there doesn't seem to be much middle ground. I'm hoping that somebody makes a nice looking rear decklid spoiler because I don't like the shopping cart handle very much (something like the new STI's would be nice IMO)

I still have the forge unit I had on my TT, maybe it will hook up to it lol. They're supposed to be recirculated though, so we'll see how that goes. Volvo isn't exactly the demographic to try out things like that.

yeah, I'm loving VW and the wheels on this volvo stock. The new Audi A4 wheels on the other hand make me want to throw up. Such a nice car with such poor choices in wheels...

Yeah I dunno what that wing is about, but it aint that easy on the eyes & the rear is already extremely hit or miss.

I think on a dark car some tint would help mask the actual shape of the glass/etc better. Aftermarket is on par with audi/hummer stuff, so I guess I'm as used to it as I could be. Actually now that I look at it, everything for this car but the chip is much cheaper than it was for my old TT

Good call!! If I could black out the tails, I'd be all about it. I'd probably have to use that nightshades stuff though? I don't like that stuff because it leaves a rough finish & the light dispersion isn't very good if you put it on unevenly. Any other solutions? (I'm sure there won't be tail light tint for it since they're SO big).

    Joey mod?

My vote is to get a 1k beater and spend 29k on the cobra.

    Or....buy a 1k beater and a 29k R/T 10.

Personally, I just couldn't spend 30k on an "ordinary" car when you can get something WAAAYYYY cooler for the same or less....

my brother (ex-bodyman/painter) uses tinted clearcoat. just a quick scuff and sprays on as dark as you want... comes out perfectly smooth and WILL NOT come off...

joey mod. take the shell of the backup light out and paint the "chrome" leaving you with just a light behind the tint without all that flashy reflectiveness

I don't think I'll ever be able to drive around in a piece of shit though. That's just depressing!

I'll admit, I have expensive tastes... And I've already got the cobra

no room for a trailer at the house and I miss driving a smaller car that has great highway manners & is still fun, but I've got plenty of time to go back and forth on the things I want. Right now I have a loonnggg list of things I'd drive. The hummer is fun, but it aint the best highway cruiser in the world

I'd say go with an STI hatch if your looking for that type of car. I like the way you had that one planned out in an older thread. I just love the way the new sti's look and they are pretty quick!

new STI is 10k more than this car though - the way I'd want them optioned at least.

All I want (this week ) is the C30 R design, with the only options being a special paint, fog lights and heated front seats. Before TTL, that's a sticker price of under 27k. We'll see how it goes though. I'll probably lease whatever I get because I do exactly what I'm doing right now anyway - look for new cars

I know you have a cobra...I said put 29k IN to it..not buy one.

I would drive a piece for 3 months out of the yr if the other 9 were spent between an R/T 10, and a TR03CPE than ran 10's.

I think spending 30k on a volvo is like spending 30k on a minivan.
