There are guys on here with both, so they should help to give you good feedback, but the answer will lie in what max HP do you wish to make, and how much street driving you do. There is also the newer Si trim too which kind of falls in between the S and T trim that you may want to look into. It seems to be the hot ticket for wicked street cars.

BTW- GREAT choice in using Rick for your shortblock!

To make the most of the T-trim you have to spin it up pretty good. If you don't plan on making 16 lbs. of boost or more than I would jsut stick with the S-trim.
I've had both so ask me how I know............

The Si is an upgraded s trim. I dont think Vortech sells an Si trim. I have a V1 S-trim.Aside from the whine, its a decent blower. Very happy with it. Good power and lots of boost. I have seen 14PSI with mine.

Have an S trim on the Lincolns 331 at 14 lbs boost, has one size smaller pulley, and made 475 at wheels through aod at 5800 rpm. You can get 18lbs from an s but it has to have the high speed bearings, this is from a vortech tech. The tech told me that if you spin a t and s trim at the same rpm they will put out almost the same psi, only once you really spin the t will it make more boost at the top end.
