Finally got everything together enough to try and run the Capri.

On new QTP's so the first pass I spun 1st and 2nd, ran a 13.26 at 106.5 with a lousy 2.07 60'. Second pass it hooked a little better, but when the boost hit spun the top of 1st, and hit them a little in second. The car did go a 12.82at 108.61 with a 1.72 60'. I blew the third pass with a missed second and drove it into the rev limiter twice.

Over-all I was happy with the car for 4 cylinders with a bunch of stock parts. Only getting three passes has got to end.

PRP should read all the complaints and do something about it, they are ruining the track.

I'm not sure if your dad was totally convinced, but after last night, I think he is hooked. We had a good time last night. Glad he came out, you should have been there.

yeah nice times i might have to hit you up for some tech help on the rotated intake and intercooler stuff . i am gutting and rotating mine right now, on my svo i have seen you on turbofords too :)

Let me know what you need. Mine is a pretty simple set-up with the rotated upper and NPR intercooler. I have pictures of the intercooler, intake and stuff on my webshots page.

I'm hedging a little on going down there Sunday, it looks like about an even chance of rain, I'm a little concerned to drive down, race, and then have to drive this car back home (yeah, I'm a wuss, but I hammer this thing off the line ;) ).

I did go to PRP today for a regular show and ran two new best ET and MPH, it went a 12.74 at 108.6 with a still lousy 1.76 60'. I backed that up with a 12.77 with a 1.75 60'. It was really hot and humid, so I'm looking forward to some good air.
