Here is my personal view on this debate, take it or leave it. If you'll notice, the slower people are... the more "rules" a car must follow to be a "street car". That isn't directed to anyone who posted because i only read a few posts. To me a street car is anything you can drive on the street without issue. It doesn't matter if you have a cage, tubbed, blown, stroked, turbo'd or whatever. I could care less if it's emission legal or not because a lot of states still don't even test emissions. I do however expect a person who calls their car a street car to be inspected, registered, and insured... mainly because if you have those 3 things it proves your paying because you drive your car on the street enough to need validation. however if your that guy who is illegal and drives without any of it, but is still out there on a decent basis, i could still credit you with that. you can run whatever gas your pockets can afford... obviously you better have some big pockets to run race fuel on a daily basis. You can also run whatever tire you want, I don't really care because i try not to drive my car in the rain unless it just happens while i'm out. My car is a street car. i drive it on the street, 70 miles to the track, and well sometimes i drive it back lol.. it depends on the kind of whoopin i put on it. so in summary.. street car = a car drivin on the street where ever you want to go, fairly daily during the summer.
