what kind of car do u have
and thats cool when you beat v8 cars thats cool to and if u were to build a 9second v8 car u would chose to trailer it because it makes more sence gas is say 2.00 a gallon and u would probably get 4 miles to a gallon driving it 60 miles its cheaper to trailer it plus if you break you dont have to pay 300 dollars to have it towed
Who cares? As long as the cars are not unsafe why should it matter? When you have a high horsepower car the chance of something breaking is a lot greater and it is nice to know you have a way to get home when something lets go. If you have a truck and trailer why not use it?
It sould be about having fun with what you have not worrying about what someone else has.
well said
your acting like this event pays money to the winner its for fun if you dont want to race someone because u think there cheating then dont race them if you want a big dawg sticker for your car because thats all u get i have xtras ill give u one
does the rules say you canttrailer your car to the town the event is being held it says no trailer and ive never seen anyone trailer a car in to any
i'm with you john.... i know what your saying 100%.. I drive my car 70 miles to the track only to get beat in the stop light drags by cars doing 150+ mph.... I qualified dead last in King Street which is the top 8 fastest of the night and i went 132mph... you gotta ask yourself wtf... are people so greedy that they got to go to events that are for for real street driven cars just to dominate people who can't compete on a full drag level... it's very frustrating to me, but you get used to the "big dogs" being glory hogs. like they don't get enough spotlight at their own events for their "class"

It such a bad topic to argue, because not only do people have their own opinions, but there is a huge gray area between a streetcar and a racecar.
My car is almost stock. Its a streetcar. Someday it will run 10's, probably be trailered, and definitely have some big slicks out back, then it would be a racecar, i suppose. But what is it in between those points??
