This reminds me of this guy I knew that had a Subrau STI. The story goes...He was messing around with a smaller street bike and they blew past a cop that was heading the other direction. Well the cop ended up NOT chasing the bike. Hehehe So this guy took the cop in an unmarked car for one hell of a ride on the back roads. I dont think this guy got up to the speed of the porsche in the vid but he says he did four wheel drifts around a few bends and the tires were screaming (or was it the road). He said he ended up pulled into a driveway to hide for 15 minutes because he came up on some traffic.

83-89 for sure, I think its a 3.2 liter carrera, but it might also be the turbo. Not sure, I've never been in a turbo of that generation (they were supposed to be laggy then punch you in the chest when the turbo hit boost.)
0-60 in 5.4 seconds back in the day for the carrera was flyyyyyyyyin compared to just about everything else. (the new 84 corvette ran it in 6.7 seconds for comparrison)

Showed the video to my dad and he noted a couple of things. I didn't. My dad's had a whale tail spoiler, but this car has the turbo spoiler, which wrapped all the way around to make that cup like shape in the back. He also said that it sounds a lot deeper than his did, but that if its modified that might make it sound more like a truck like that one does (his words lol).
Also, he said that the car has too quick of throttle response and low end grunt to be the turbo.. but most importantly it's a 5 speed which means no turbo because it had a 4 speed (at least when he bought his new in 84).
Not sure if anyone cares, but I thought I'd follow up on that if someone did.

They're pretty nuts over there! I was browsin street racin on You tube. And came across the Street Racing in Stockholm. All the different Cups they have are the insanest I've ever seen. Full Blown Race Cars of all types runnin at all times of the day/night, blockin highway traffic!! Burnouts as long as football fields. Totally off the chain!! Look it up. PEACE
