    Angry Help!

    ok i only have one bolt left on the driver side manifold and that things outta there! the passenger side on the other hand is giving me a headache! does anybody have some words of wisdom on getting the bolts off the passenger side? PLEASE my new longtubes are staring at me and i cant do anything with them!

    are you having trouble reaching them or trouble breaking them loose??

    just reaching the damn things! haha the angl is tough to theres so much stuff in the way on that side!

    ive been soaking them in blaster so if i can get on them they should break loose pretty easy

    try using some swivel sockets if you havent already and if you still cant get to them your just gonna have to start taking other things off to get to it

    did you take the k-member off?

    swivel sockets and lots of extensions and try to lift the motor just alittle with a jack....maybe 3 inches max that might give you alittle room......good luck!

    What I did when I was doing my long tubes on my 03 was, I unbolted the starter first then unbolted the mounts from the k member and jacked the motor up and unbolted the mounts from the block and removed them... to me it was a lot eaiser to work around

    haha thanks guys anything will be easier than what ive been doin im gonna try that today and hopefully ill have the other side off! did anybody that ran longtubes have any trouble fitting them around the steering column or anything?

    they usually fit pretty good, but it is very tough to do it with the k-member still in the car...

    Im sure you already know this but I figured I would remind you, if you take the k-member off make sure you get the car aligned after your install..
