I was reading somewhere that the bottom end was engineered for 1200. I'll be happy when I see 750 at the tires.....But that won't be for a while.

the rods don't like RPM. The limit was set specifically at 6250 for a reason iirc

Hey guys,

I got an email from another staff member at Carlisle. They know we are trying to get a tent with 25 members (or more), so you guys need to start/keep registering with SteelCityStangs.

Friday and Sunday, there will be parking around our tent for our members, but Saturday, show day, we all will have to move to our own class areas. (most of you know this already).

So Im just giving you a heads up. I am expecting another email in a week or so. I will post again when I get it.

Also, I thought I said I could drive down with you guys, bu Im not on the list :( Hopefully come that day everything goes smoothly, so if you want to keep me off the list 'just in case' I understand.

Also.. we need to start discussing the amount for the tent, banners and decortions and if you guys want to do a cookout the 3 days on the showfield. We are allowed propane grills, but nothing electric. IF we all pitch in and bring something, we can have a nice cookout those days.

Something to think about for the upcoming weeks

It's ok. I stated things may change down the road, hopefully I can rely on my friend to do the babysitting for that weekend. But since she offered, I'd like to be included. No big deal ;)

We are considering going to Carlisle this year and would think it would be cool to join the line of Mustangs going down the road. We usually catch the Turnpike at the Donegal exit so we could meet up at the Somerset service plaza. About what time would we need to be there on Friday?

honestly, lol I dont know hopefully someone else can chime in here, weve been tossin around real early or around 10 but Im not sure what everyone decided if anything

No problem. lol! I didn't see a time anywhere on the post. I was wondering because we (us and 1Badbird) would usually leave around 2 or 3 am on Saturday to leave for Carlisle and get there around 7 or 8am. Last time we left on a Friday morning around 8 or 9am and didn't get to Carlisle until about 1 or 2pm. We are pretty close to WV so we got on I-68 to I-70 to Hagerstown and I-81. It took longer than what I thought but the ride was nice.
