i drove the viper. it's got almost the same acceleration as me, but more top end. My shot at beating him is off the line with my 555dr's. It'll be a matter of if he can catch up in time which he may.

I know you guys want to cruise down together, but it is important to stay together on the way down. I know the idea of having walkie-talkies has been thrown around too.
This should be an enjoyable cruise down (and back)... not a race to see who gets to Carlisle first
Just keep in mind the cool factor of seeing 20+ Mustangs rollin' down together (safely) ;)
I'm all for the tunnels though.. sounds awesome!
ALSO... we need to work on a theme for the tent, and a banner too. These have been tossed around a few times.
I think if everyone who registers for Carlisle would throw in 5 bucks, we could have a decent size banner that you guys can use at other shows throughout the summer too.
We have many members willing to help us out with these things, our job is to agree on what size banner, and what theme to go with so it can all be put into action.
Thanks guys :)

I believe Rodeheavers said he has connections to get a banner, just needs to know how much money we want to spend. They go from $100-1000.
From Rodeheaver's: I can get super nice printed signs for aprox. 250$per banner
So we may need 10 bucks from each member registered, or less if we get more than 25 members, to help pitch in for the sign. It's a requirement for Carlisle for the tent, so let's help him out and get some money to him.
I also thought maybe it would be nice if the local businesses could give us banners to hang in our tent from their shops. Can you guys organize that? Thanks! :)
As for paypal, dont know, but can find out.

Thats a really good idea tammy. I'd like to have First Bass, Rodeheavers, Wolfpack Speed, Streetlethal Performance, and all the other vendors (I cant remember them all) banner's in/on the tent...good advertising and they all take care of us too when we need it.
Oh, and do we have to get 25 cars and thats it, or can there be more?

Maybe the business banners can be our 'theme'.... automotive performance at its best, or something along that line...
can you guys please contact the businesses and ask if they have banners. I know Rodeheaver's already told me he was working on one for his.

You know, 50 might be a lot, but it's a goal. I'm gonna be happy reaching 25 for a tent.. if we end up with 26-49 members.. that's great too. Next year will be better, we just have to get the baseline this year and build on it for next year.
you guys are doing a great job with registering and making plans to meet up to cruise down. hotels are getting booked.
Only a few more details to get straight and we're set for a fun weekend!
