both of these units had awesome reviews, this amp wasnt the cheap bottom of the line it was the best you could have bought. it has TONS of inputs of the back, if you have a 720p TV this amp will cover all your HD needs plus it has optical in which i always used for my xbox, ps3 and dvd awesome sound
