who in their right mind wants PMS?
I knew someone would go there!!!!
just getting it out of the way for ya :)
I should have asked my wife about PMS, better yet...no I shouldn't....
i have one in my car and love it. it is great for a user who likes to change things with the car and the tune on different tracks and weather conditions. also it has alot of features that other tuning devices offer other than a full standalone system. as far as cons i cant really think of any other than its a bit pricey for the inital hit over a chip tune, but in time it pays for its self if u change tunes frequently. millcreekmafia, 349stroker and myself all use them with great success.
Will the system allow you to adjust for adding larger injectors and adjust the MAF without having to send it back to the manufacturer for "recoding", like from 30lb injectors correctly coded to the 30lb MAF and then you decide to switch to a 42lb injectors, would you have the ability to change the "coding" of the MAF with the PMS? sorry for the long winded question...the PMS is just soooo expensive...I want to be sure before spending $$$$.
Thanks.
yes the the series 3 and 4 have a globle fuel. in which u can remove or add percentages that allow u to do that. u dont change the curve at the mass air u just adjust the curve of what the mass air computes back to the computer.
I have an extra series 3 for sale if your interested. with InterLOG data logging software that actually is registered, and 3 bar map sensor. The pms is a great device. especially if your the type of person who likes to change their setup, because it can grow with you over the time you build your car. Probably the first thing you'll notice is if you have a bigger injector car where you have issues with it fouling plugs, idling, or just flat out starting, you'll never have to worry about that again because you can adjust the amount of start fuel, and the fuel/timing it gets at idle...
