    Talking Schizoid thought of the day: Anybody ever own a Porsche?

    Crivelli's in Mt. Pleasant has a used one for sale. 2006 boxster (regular, not S-model), 5-speed manual. White with tan int. I don't know what the asking price is.

    Anyway, I always hear horror stories about the Porsches maintenance costs and parts. Is it just because middle-aged dinks (double income no kids), with a cushy office job (read: not gearheads) buy them and get screwed by the dealers because they're stupid about cars.

    OR, is there really some kind of magical Porsche parts and oil and brakes that will bankrupt the common man?
