On Christmas Eve a dog showed up at my parent's house. It appears like the dog was dropped off - its not starving, and its extremely friendly. Very shy and timid at first, but then once it warms up to you, its very friendly and acts like all it wants to do is cuddle up in a ball with you.

Its a medium size dog, female, mostly black with some white. Probably some sort of collie (wholely or partially). It also appears to be house-broken. My parents have been keeping her in the garage to stay warm, but when she's outside she likes to run around, so I'm guessing she'd love to play and retrieve balls, sticks, etc. She's done some barking at the neighbors dog, but other than that, she's not annoying and she hasn't barked at our dogs. She seems like she's very nice with my parent's dog also, but ever since I came home with my 8 month old Golden Retriever, she tries to stay away (since my dog is a little wild when she's outside). I would say she's only a couple years old.

My parents already have several dogs, so they don't want to keep it, but if they call the pound, they will put it down if no one claims it in 2 days.

If anyone is interested in a very sweet, friendly dog, please let me know. We just to find a good home for her since she is such a sweet, friendly pup.
