    1983 mustang gt

Can anyone tell me about this year I am looking at one and like it just wondering about them. I never had one that old. The one I am looking at is a 83 Gt pretty good cond needs minor work. Really like it just hoping the price is right for it. what would something like this cost for that year. really want a stang again
    Thanks Hunter

I would'nt pay to much for the car only because an 83 is not a desirable year at all. Kinda hard to give you a price to pay since we really dont know anything about it, do you have a link to the car or pic we can see??

    Wow, I didn't know that ;)

83's are cool as hell if you are into 4 eyes. One thing you have right, it's hard to put a value on anything without good info. You will get better estimates of value with better details, and over at http://vb.foureyedpride.com/index.php

I love 4 eyed foxes, only fuel injected versions..

Most people I know would go for an 86-93 over early 80's any day, especially if you just want a bolt on car that runs good. I drove a few early 80's foxes and they didnt feel to strong Imo..

Theres nothing wrong with a carb car. Yea stock they might be slower, but it dont take much to get them runnig around efi cars. Hell put in an HO motor, good intake, carb, exhaust, MSD and you got a screemer!

Plus nothing sounds, and feels like that four barrel kickin in!!!

I agree, you can make an 83 run awesome just like any other stang. It just sounds to me like he wants something to drive, not be swapping motors or any projects that take any more money. This is the car. Has 100k also, doesnt tell you in the ad.

Things usually sell when priced right. Only worth what someone is willing to pay.

Well first off it does not have a hydrolic roller in it, and the power is 175 hp. My 85 had a roller motor in it and would beat a 83 from stop light to stop light. You could always drop a fuelie motor in it and add a supercharger down the road.
