    thanks, i ended up doing a total tear down......it was just supposed to be heads, cam and intake but that turned in to bearings, seals everything....
    it just snowballs once you start tearing it apart

    it depends on who you ask, i would imagine 270ish
    the heads were ported so im curious to see what it will do

    looking real good ....make sure your water pump is sealed really good....i just filled my car with coolant today and i have a small leak in my water pump...tried to tighten the water pump bolt and ended up cracking my water pump! so now i gotta tear it off and put on a new one

    i planned on getting it started today too...kinda sucks hahah

    just got done pulling it off a minute ago...turns out the gasket slid out of place VERY slightly while i was putting it on and there was a gap about a nanometer big that was letting coolant out. Also the crack is not bad at all its just on one of the holes that the bolt goes into because i tightened it a tad too much. turns out it is only about 1/8 inch long, if that...so ill be fine, no need for a new waterpump


    anyways enough highjacking your thread! keep us updated and put up a vid when its running!

    im getting pretty excited about this.........it would be sweet to see 240 at the wheels! id hate to dyno it stock

    to be honest this started out as a cheap built and went on...
    its nothing too outrageous, stock pistons, ported gt-40ps, F303, FMS SS ceramic headers, explorer intake.
    anyone know how much the Ps bump the compression?
