Anybody have one? If so, how do you like it? I switched from verizon to get the iPhone, the phone is the best but AT&T is as bad as the browns. Just looking for some feedback as I can't deal with the useless service...

i dont like it. its slow, it lags, and its too hard to hit the buttons being touchscreen only.
In my opinion, the best phones that verizon has out at the moment is the Treo 755p or the HTC Touch, but im not sure if it is out yet for verizon

I had a Palm Treo and switched to the Storm. I will say that I think the phone is awesome and I am glad I made the switch. The Storm has out preformed my old Treo and I still have not used all the available apps that are out there for this phone. My wife's friend who is a avid Apple fan, said that he liked the Storm due to the "touch / click screen" and also noted that the I Phone also need firmware updated when it first came out.
Did you use the wireless upgrade function on the phone? This latest firmware version did reduce the lag in the screen rotation and other items. It also addresses the camera lag.
The latest official version that has been released is 4.7.0.75. I would not recommend any of the beta versions due to the instability of the firmware.

Weird... I always loved AT&T's service, but everyone i knew was on the Verizon network, so I switched to take advantage of the "IN" calling/texting.... I have the LG Dare, which is 100% touchscreen as well, and I really like it. Doesn't seem to have any issues that I have run into. However, if you're looking for a phone that will also help with appointments, and be useful in the business, the Dare probably isn't a good choice. It has a calendar and everything, but its not as nice to use as my Palm Treo's was. All in all, its a much better phone than my Palm was (except for the appointment book and email)

If your phone service has internet (for say a blackberry), can you also use that as a "wireless internet card" and hook your laptop up to it?

If you have an unlimited data plan and pay the "tether" charge then yes. I couldn't get it to work with my old Q though.
Mike, I just go the storm about a week ago and I'm very pleased with it thus far. The only two things that I don't like is if I'm holding the handset to my ear and trying to use my shoulder to hold the phone the mute button on the keypad makes contact with my cheek and puts the phone into mute mode which is annoying. The only problem I've experience with it (and its only happened 2 times since owning it) was that the camera display will pop up on the screen but only occupy about 1/4 of the screen. It won't go away unless I take a picture or pull the battery out. I'm not sure if I'm hitting something by accident or not, but its kind of a PITA. I will say that I love the touch/click screen over what the competition has, and the internet is fast as hell on it, even out here in the mountains. It also comes with a 8gig SD card at no charge so its got tons of room to store stuff on. The battery is better than I had expected, but with heavy net usage it uses it up pretty quickly. Its much better than my old Q even with its extended battery.
I had AT&T for years before switching to verizon and I don't think I'd ever switch back, the coverage is SO much better with verizon than it is with AT&T everywhere I go.

Paul,
Do you remember how much the "tether" charge is?
Is getting internet access this way (through the phone and then to the computer) going to be slower than hard-line high speed internet?

I get my internet this way through sprint. It's $40/mo. for unlimited data with no additional tethering charge. I have internet on my phone then when I get home I just plug the phone into the computer and have internet there as well. It's not as fast as a hard line internet connection, but still way faster than dial up. The only downside I have right now is that I can't use it with my PS3
