    Not a lot to explain really. Went to aspen for a few days with my girlfriend and on new years eve some 70 something old man put bombs outside the banks of aspen and it shut the town down that night. The bombs were real, but were disposed of by the bomb squad later that night - unfortunately everyone lost their reservations for the night and the town surely lost millions of tourist dollars as they were forced to close and the town to evacuate.

    The really shitty thing about it was that the guests of some very expensive rooms (think 4500+ a night) were told to leave for the local high school being staffed by the red cross due to a manditory evac of that area. The bomber took his own life and was found the next day in his jeep.

    No, we stayed at a condo in snowmass mountain so we were fine for the night. We did lose our reservations to a nice steak house though, so we had some mexican instead
