Its surely not what they're capable of but will probably be relatively accurate, I think GM also said that z06 was good for 11.5 seconds, but it's gone 10.9xx completely stock in a mineshaft somewhere

    2010 Camaro SS: 13.4 @ 108mph (automatic)
Did the "internet ninja" find any specs for the Z28 or isnt it being built? I thought it was going to be the top dog and the SS was going to be mid. Even if that is not the same steps as the past.

Internet ninja got forced into sweatshop work at a nike factory & couldn't find any much on the z28. He speculated that if it was introduced, it would join the line up later - and share the zr1/ctsv powertrain however

I have seen low mile GT500's go for as low as 35K here in town.

Actually ever body part is different. Mirrors r smaller has the shark nose front end and a lot of other stuff. I was reading it in the new 5.0 mag. I didn't believe it but everything is different

Move of snake was to facilitate air intake now sucking from the driver side grill.
And I've driven in a late '90s Viper RT10 and was not impressed in any way---rode like sh1t, sounded like sh1t, and engine had a truck done at 5000rpm feel.
Regardless of what the new Camaro offers, it will weigh as much or more than the GT500 and not be as mod friendly (ie--minor mods on Shelby=win).
    I will own a GT500 in about 2 yrs.

.... I fully endorse your decision and recommend others to follow! Prices are coming down on the 07's - 09's! I imagine they will fall even more this fall/winter considering the 2010's will fully be on the market and the economy SUCKS!
