That one is a refurb so it brings the price down a good bit. I checked that part # at stores online and they were around $1049-$1099. Still thinking about buying it though cause I'm in the market for a HDTV as well.

this is waht i have ,its a 42" panasonic, i just started to build the dvd player and audio equipment into the wall, its not totally done yet, but i really love it and it gave me tons of room in the living room, i also think this is the perfect size tv, my brother has a 60" and it is way to big, it is hard to watch its so big, the 42" seems to be just about right. And its totally awesome when i play need for speed pro street on it!!
2015 A6 Mustang GT that so far has gone 9.48@147 but still the fastest prochargerd S550 in the world aside from Tim Essick's!

we just bought a 46" samsung 1080i for $1049. here was what i know. i can not see a difference between 720 or 1080i on normal programs and movies. i'm told 1080 is what is needed for blue ray. so if your not interested in blueray then go with the 720 to save some $$$. the second thing is if you like alot of action movies or anything with fast movements then definately go with a 120hz. it is very noticable. or look into a plasma. after searching and looking for 2 weeks the samsung always had the best picture in all store displays. most sony's were very close/similar.

here is what i would recommend. best buy has the no interest deal but if you have bad credit then thats a no go. sears had a deal that was 10% off any samsung tv that was 999 or more.

For plasma, can not beat pioneer, but they are $$$$$$. I bought a 40" Samsung and I am very happy with other than I could but it now for a couple hundred cheaper. I originally wanted a Sony, but side by side , the samsung looked better. Liked the Samsung TV so much, I bought a matching 7.1 Ch home theater for it.
