    Which would you buy?

I'm looking into buying another 94-95. I want one to autocross and just drive. My '95 has become too much and too nice to take to wal mart on a shopping trip, so i want something else to play with on a daily basis. I have all but made up my mind already, but I figured I'd throw this out here to see what you all thought.

    Here's the first car:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...1123&viewitem=

I always wanted a white with black interior GT. If I get this car I'd put my AFR 165 heads, FTI cam, and edelbrock intake on it.

    Second car:

1994 Rio Red, black cloth interior cobra with 154,000 that is 100% stock from its original owner. The owner has ALL of the documentation for this car... build certificate, original window sticker, etc. It will cost me a little more for this car but its a stock unmolested cobra from its original owner. I'm not sure what I'll do with this one as in if I'll put my HCI setup on it or not. Hell, I may put my turbo kit on this one with the stock HCI and not put it on my 'vert.

I've pretty much made up my mind to get the cobra, but I wondered what you would do if you were me. I assume the GT won't go for a whole lot more than its listed at right now as there is only 5hrs left.

    For a 5-liter?

It's just broken in! Lol. those miles wouldn't scare me if the price was right.

What would be faster on an autocross and more fuel efficient....the cobra or the SVT focus?

I would pick a car that is original owner and documented.

They feed on mostly small rodents like rats(BBC) , mice (SBC) and snakes(Cobras).

I think a Cobalt would be more fun to drive daily than a 94-95 Cobra. Those things were dogs!

Thanks for the advise everyone. After seeing how high that GT went I know I'm getting a good deal now. I don't want to disclose the sale price until after I sign the paper work, but its safe to say that its a good bit less than $8K.

I'm not too worried about the miles either.

Here is a list of parts that I already own that I could possibly put on this car (if i can find them all as I have the stored all over the place! LOL!)

    -AFR165 heads
    -edelbrock intake
    -65mm FMS TB (cobra's only have a 60mm stock)
    -1.6 rockers
    -extra 24lb injectors
    -Morpheous power pipe
    -FMS shorty headers
    -Bassani off road X pipe
    -Mac catted H pipe
    -flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers
    -pro 5.0 shifter
    -PTK single turbo kit
    -T64e turbo
    -T76 turbo
    -black leather seats

In addition I have all sorts of extra stock body panels and hoods.

My plan is to get it home and detailed and then immediately put the pro 5.0 shifter, throttle body, headers, and either the catted H or the off road X on it. I'm leaning towards the catted pipe right now as I want this car to not be as loud or stink as much as my 'vert does since I'll be able to take my daughter in this one. As for all of the other stuff... I have no idea what I'm going to do. I may leave it stock, I may put my old HCI on it, or I may slap my turbo kit with the T76 on it and be done with it.

And on a side note, this isn't going to be my daily driver as that is what the SVTF is for, but this will be a lot more of a driver than my '95 is now.

Ed- they were good for low 14's at 96-98mph stock and are an easy mid 13 second car at 101-103mph with exhaust, pulleys, and gears. It won't be setting the world on fire, but it'll do just fine for what I want it for.
