aod to t-5 swap

I took the T-5 out of my grey car and put in a AOD and I believe the sensor for the back up lights and neutral safety is different. Its been five years since and can't quite remember. I cut the plug of a car that was an automatic and just wired it up. Like I aid though I can't remember what I did but I had to do something.

I have done it on a Fox. There is a jumper harness off the main harness for the transmission type. (AOD or T5) If you are getting the stuff from a donor car it should have what you need.

ive done it. you can use your factory wiring harness and just take the two wires out for the reverse lights. if you keep the facotry harness you must keep the neutral safty switch! i did much cheaper than buying a new one

i have all most all the parts for the swap except for a quadrant and cable and the wiring

I did it on the turbocoupe and I think they were the same.
