    New toy

Just picked up a new-to-me toy.

An old 1989 CBR600 Hurricane. Never rode any crotch rockets till this one. The fairings are well...fair. Needs a few odds and ends, but overall runs good and is all there. For a 600 this bike feels fast just in first/second gear. It only cost me 700 Jr bacon cheeseburgers to boot!

ha ha pics made my day. I had an '90 Honda VTR250, then I moved up to a '93 cbr 600 f2. both were red, white, blue combo.

Be careful since this is your first "crotch rocket". Watch out for the paris hilton wannabe in a ford excursion with a little dog in one hand, a cell-phone in the other, while trying to pull her underwear off at the same time.

    edit: how many miles?

The chassis has 24k on it. Prev owner had some compression loss on the original engine and replaced it with another that supposedly had 11k on it. He did give me the original complete longblock w/tranny!
KB if I had the cash, i'd buy it. HMMMMM......... maybe I can talk ViperEd into buying it......

For those that don't see a whole lot of TV, the bike was $700.

I'm pickin' up what you're putting down Oki. Had a few close calls on my Harley. Some my fault, some not. Lookin' forward to the first ride on the CBR.

I only hope it's safer back there, because here we are considered "professional drivers" so we are already 30 percent at fault for just being in any kind of accident.
