you will need a ton of stuff to run that, your best bet is to just break down and buy a kit, you will spend more $ trying to peice one together.. call me i can give you a super price on a kit..

happy early birthday josh, that's one helluva gift!

LMAO @ $1000 buy it now for a heaton. I think Tim is right, you should look into something that is more complete.

What kind of goals did you have in mind?

Hmm, goal wise...I know this might sound far fetched, but...Somethin thats gonna make some decent power, but keep me reliable..IT is my DD but I plan on getting a tune RIGHT after its put on to be as safe as I can be! Im not looking to be runnin 11s or anything crazy, just somethin quick that makes cool noises haha. But back on a serious note...I wanna keep it as simple as possible where I dont have to go out and buy a rear end and a shit ton of other parts..Oh and Tim, I got a new phone so I lost your cell # PM me with it and Ill give ya a call in a little if your not busy..

**** that. If you buy something used and something happens, you're screwed. At least if you buy new you have a warranty. The vortechs come with a 1 year warranty and if you send in the paper they give you it's a 3 year.

Why not save until you have the 3k or 4k to drop towards it and be happy in the end with no worries?

My bearing's went out in my vortech a few month's after I put mine on, and It was nice to just ship it out and have it fixed for nothing..

Good luck finding a power adder ready to bolt on that makes noises for 1500. If u have that much do nitrous. Your going to spend 400 to 500 in tuning and a complete kit for power adder is going to be atlest 3500. Save your money and do it right. And trying to stay reliable go nitrous. Your gonna go through a lot of problems working it out and everything. For me it was blowing off hoses. There's so many problems that can happen. Even more if you go the cheap way. Do yourself a favor and do nitrous 75 shot or 100 with a tune on 93 octane. And ull be happy. Trust me.

A good turbo alone will cost nearly $1500 ... let alone the rest of the parts needed to make it work.......

I sure wish i'd get 1500 for my birthday... damn... haha
