a guy wants to sell me turbo kit for my 02 GT.its everything minus the T3 flange turbo manifold and a 5 bolt exhaust downpipe.I know a lil bout turbos but im trying to find out what parts these are and how much they cost.I know the kid who does all the work on my car made a down pipe for a scion tc he did and its still running strong.so you turbo guys chime in.

You said - T3 flange turbo manifold

The way I read that, it reads to me like the kit is missing a manifold (IE: header)? If so, you will need the right one or else the kit parts may not work. Not exactly sure what you are saying here.

Then you said - 5 bolt exhaust downpipe

Here you will need to know if the turbo kit is internally or externally waste gated. If internal, you can do exactly like I'm doing with my winter upgrades and run a flapper valve to 3" V Band or similar.

The flapper valve (swing valve) is what is pictured on the outlet of this turbo (for internal gate):

If the turbo kit is set up for an external gate, you can get a 5 bolt flange to pipe or v-band from a number of sources. A few for reference:

This is a v-band kit, it makes life easy because you dont have to take those 5 bolts out of the turbine that will seize when you need to drop your exhaust - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/T3-T3...Q5fAccessories

Those parts linked would bolt on to the 5 bolts in the picture.

yea that flange that you said I need to weld the 3in pipe is the one I need and where can I get the manifold/header from

No idea, like I said, iy likely needs to match the kit. all of the different kits put them different places, and if it's not the same, the crossover, charge pipes, etc wont fit. Ask him who built the kit ;)
