George- as was said these cars were good for low 14's at 96-97mph stock. My '95 'vert went 15.2 at 90 stock and my cousin's old '94GT went 14.8 at 93mph stock. My car is completely stock right now.
Sean and Wick- its too early to tell, but its safe to say I can't leave anything stock for long. I have so many parts that will just bolt right onto this it isn't funny. Right off the bat I plan to put my old Pro 5-0 shifter from my stock T5 on it, add my 65mm TB, and my strut tower brace. I have my old AFR165 heads, edelbrock intake, headers, X pipe, etc. too. I will say though that now that I own a bone stock cobra, I'm feeling less inclined to mod it than I was when I was looking for a GT.
Ed- it saw enough snow last night behind the wheel of this car to last me a lifetime!
Here's some pics I took today after washing it in 23* weather! I had to put salt down on my driveway just to make sure I could get it back into the garage! After these were taken I took my orbital buffer with some hand glaze to it and OMG! Its like a new car. It had so much oxidation on it that it looked like it had pearl in it... that is how much white was covering the red. If we have another nice day this week and I get the entire car done I'll grab some new pics.
