Well guys, I think I'm pretty much committed to upgrading my camera equipment at this point, which means I ought to try to recoup some money out of my current set up.
Don't be afraid that it's too much camera for you or that you won't know what you're doing. This is the camera that I learned to shoot with and in my honest opinion, it's very user friendly. Also since you're buying this from me, you'll also have me to help you figure anything out with the camera or help show you some tricks I've picked up using this camera.
What exactly am I looking to sell?
(1) Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT in black
(1) Canon EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 Lens (this is what I usually shoot with)
(1) EOS Digital camera strap
(1) Battery
(1) Charger
(1) San Disk Ultra II 2 gigabite memory card - holds 583 pictures on the highest quality setting and has 15 mb/sec transfer is error free
The camera has no problems whatsoever, I'm just looking to sell to afford an upgrade.
current market price for my camera (without memory card) ranges from $550 - $760: http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=12317118...crelevancerank
If you're not a fan of the pictures that I take, here is a 3rd party review of the camera:

Asking $400,which I think is pretty reasonable for the set up.
Also willing to sell:
(1) Canon Camera Bag - $20
this will hold everything listed above, plus the tamron lens listed below perfectly without being bulky. Two zipper compartments and 2 adjustable dividers.
(1) Manfrotto 785B tripod - $50, if I can actually find something else I like more
this is an extremely easy user friendly, sturdy & portable tripod. Height adjusts from 6.9" to 59.2" which is very very good. Rubber feet so it's not going anywhere. It also has a quick release camera mount so you don't have to bother screwing the camera on and off each time you want to use it. Just put it on the camera base once and you can clip it on and off the tripod. (bought new in June for $75)
I'm probably going to regret selling this but I'll say my tripod is for sale for $50, pending I find something I want to replace it with.
(showing quick release)
(1) Tamron AF 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) Macro Ultra Zoom Lens - Possibly $325, see below.
This lens is honestly ridiculous. I think that it is still the standard for the widest range of zoom available for any canon body and at f/3.5 its fast as well. For a walk around lens you can't beat it, which is why I'm really really hesitant to say I'll sell it. It was $725 when I bought it but is now selling for $387 (http://www.amazon.com/Tamron-28-300m...1715491&sr=1-1)
I will possibly sell it with the camera for $325, but I don't think I will sell it separately.
If you have any questions, please let me know and I'd be happy to answer them.
