satan must be on another teams radar, or else this move makes little sense...
looking at the contracts thats why i like frolov, on a line with sidney and kunitz...
gaborik is just to hard to keep healthy to warrant that kind of risk for that kind of money on this roster...
i would part ways with staal for frolov and more...but i would like to see the more part of the deal before hand...
how about frolov and jack johnson from lak for staal and a one of our d plus a pick

I come to work and the trade talk starts. Damn.
Anyways, I heard about Armstrong awhile ago and I think that would be a big mistake. Like I said earlier in this thread, I like Colby but he is not what we need.
I heard about Cheecho last night on another hockey board. We would have to give up more than Satan to get him.

I just saw on TSN that satan was put on waivers
LOL! Saw this on Eklunds lastest blog...
"The Penguins may be bring back Gary Roberts."
I was starting to this this years trade deadline was going to be a downer. Things are looking up! Haha...
I have heard every rumor possible, most of the ones from people in passing involve the Penguins bringing back their favorite players from last season lol...
Armstrong, Malone, Roberts, Ruutu etc...
All while STILL COMPLAINING about the Hossa trade last year!
They stop talking to me when I tell them the Hossa trade was one I would of done 10 times out of 10....
And dont forget the people who say "trade crosby he is overrated!"

Post Gazette is reporting that Satan was placed on waivers, will probably play tonight, and has until noon tomorrow to clear waivers.
Also, Thomas has cleared waivers and will remain with the Pens.

If one more "Pens fan" ask me if they are going to bring back Colby Armstrong I seriously might beat the crap out of them.
Seriously, get over it...
...And what used to be my boiling point was the Hossa deal and how terrible it was is, quickly being replaced by the "trade sidney crosby" idiots!
How about we just stop watching hockey and talking about it if you don't know what the hell your talking about!
That said, Kunitz ftw! LETS GO PENS!
Another fan of kunitz. I like his decision making while the puck is in deep. Plus it's like he has a 6th sense of where to be to get that dirty goal, I love it!! Can't wait to see how we can utilize sid a little better here now. Our teams confidence level is through the roof. We have some tougher games ahead so we'll see how we do vs them..
Sundays game will be interesting.
Seems like Washington has been having trouble on home ice lately. Florida and Carolina both went to town on them. Lets hope we can do the same.
But even bigger than that would be the Florida game on Thursday.
I know what you mean about Sid. Everyone is talking about how we can trade him for wingers for Malkin because Malkin is so good. I just shake my head and refuse to talk hockey with them. Half the problem is the damn media. Instead of hearing how the Pens have been winning and climbing back into the playoffs, all I've heard has been what their record is without Sid. Thats all they talk about: "Pens win another one without Sid in the lineup."
