Everyone wanted him to be Hossa, which he never will be confused with lol...

I liked Miro, I liked him on Crosbys line more than alot of people did. That is where he belonged. When Therrien started moving all over the line-up I knew he was going to start looking terrible. Consequently everyone saw him as useless cause, well...on the 4th line Miro is useless!

Like you said, he is not known for his physical play, speed, or downright scoring ability. He has good hand, finds the open spot and can score some goals. If Miro spent the entire season on the top two lines he would have 20+ goals, which is all I ever expected him to get.

But with this "style" or "brand" of hockey the Pens have now adopted does not fit what Satans strenghts are. I think it was just a bad choice of personal by Shero on that one. Who could blame him though, Hossa left him high and dry...he tried...all you can ask him to do!

Was it me, or did Gols look awfull? I can't blame him he didnt get to the game untill the puck dropped I think lol...

Now if the Pens can just get a few power play goals at Washington on Sunday!

After watching gonchar a few games, yes Goli looked bad. Lol

errey always brags about how he skates, which he may be able to do but what I can't stand is how many of his shots don't get through. Most of the blocked shots go for breakaways for the opposition.

Gotta be tough though getting the word you're playing with the big boys tonight so get your ass here. After playing with a slower tempo. I guess it's nice to have someone to fall back on anyway.

Was anyone else going nuts when crosby scored that goal?? That was SICK!!

I also agree with PJ about Goli. He isn't Gonch but he does look solid. He did have a few block shots but he took shots when he needed to. Everyone on the team actually had a shot on net except Kunitz.

I was going crazy when Crosby scored. I loved the pass from Guerin and I also loved how he scored as they were still announcing their goal.

TK looked awesome as always, hustling like crazy, putting the puck to the net. I liked when they asked him how he felt about not getting the hat trick he just shrugged his shoulders and said "Oh well, we still have some more games left".

Yea I think awfull was to the extream but not crisp, it wasnt the Goli we were used to seeing early this year is a more accurate statement, maybe just not Gonchar was his problem?

I think they keep Gill in the line-up because his size and reach, but whats the point if he is a big goof and doesnt use his size and reach? I have never, ever, EVER been a Hal Gill fan. I think he is a total waste of space.

If you sit Gill and keep Goli you really go small in front of the net and on defense in general, but in my opinion Gill plays like he is 5'7" anyways so play Goli and get him as much ice time as you can to get him back to his early season form...weird seeing him wear number 3...maybe thats why he looked bad to me? lol...I'm really rough on offensive defenseman cause of Gonchar being my favorite player since I started watching hockey when I was younger.

    Orpik, Gonchar
    Letang, Eaton
    Goligoski, Scuderi

I am all for Gill to be sitting and watching...

This is so true. He's a big guy, usually the biggest on the ice, but man he plays like a pansy. Last night I was really watching him and a few times I had to Lol at his play.

I completly agree with letting him sit. We could manage without.

I'm surprised to see you guys are fans of goli.

I guess I shouldnt be a hater of Gill.

Its not like he is playing poorly, he is playing like he always has. Gill has never been a force around the net, or used his size to his create an advantage on a consistant basis. Last year in the playoffs he played well, but this year its right back where he left off. Same old "soff" Hal Gill lol...

I guess I fall under the category of wishing he was better than he really is...espcially when you see smaller guys throwing their bodies around and getting dirty playing in the corners and rubbing guys out of the play along the boards and all I have ever really seen Hal Gill do is lean on people like he is trying to hug them, or fall asleep and take a rest along the boards.

Hell, Letang uses his body nicely! He is not even built to throw it around like he does but he does it. Maybe I am like those who have been complaining about Miro Satan all year, I knew what Hal Gill was yet I expected more? If I am defending Miro to these people, I should try and come around on Gill.

It was really subtle and hilarious. I wouldn't have believed my eyes if it wasn't for DVR!

He's alright for a fill in. I just don't think he's that great at finding the net with shots from the point, and he makes some dumb passes. I do think down the road he could be a good player though.
