i cant believe you can say cooke has as good of hands as staal hes a goon with some ability to create offense i can recall countless times staal putting one timers right on his stick and him messing it up completely staal is also only 20 hes only getting better hes fourth on the team in points behind two nhl superstars and kunitz 18 points ahead of cooke

I already said that I really like staal, but have been dissapointed with him most of the year... as of late, he's played well....

However, mentioning that cooke has missed one-timers is pretty funny.... no one on that team has missed anywhere near as many WIDE OPEN NETS as jordan staal....

like i said, i like him and really hope we keep him... however, i see him as being trade bait for sometime in the future... he'll never - i repeat NEVER - be a top 2 line center on this team, and he deserves the opportunity to go do that somewhere else.... and for the majority of the year, staal did not live up to the hype....

although i was a bit shocked and disappointed when he said ovechkin should be mvp, even he was blinded by the goals and didn't see all the other things malkin brings to the mvp reputation...
