Same thing I was thinking. Plus add the fact caps have home ice. This will be a very tough series for us to win.

Asshole ovechkin always seems to play out of this world against us also..

This is all true. We weren't going to have home ice advantage in the second round regardless but I really didn't want to play at the Verizon Center for the second round. I'd rather have gone to Jersey or Boston.

Oh well, we'll just have to make the push to the finals. We can get it done!

I can't believe Varmalov stopped Crosby's shot. That's some Hasek type shit there.

Is it just me, or are the Pens really dominating MOST of this game.... and they're just getting too fancy... shoot the puck, bury rebounds... i just don't get why they wanna be so fancy!

I'm so frustrated right now!... Pens were the better team today... it comes down to special teams... they looked awful on the PP and that's where the game was lost

any team with that many pp chances and can't win doesn't deserve to.

This is no P.O.S team here. It's a very good club especially at home. That horn they keep setting off during the game is annoying as hell though. Pittsburgh should do something along that line when at home against the caps. They play music right before faceoffs but shut it off after the puck drops only to blast a ****ing horn??

That horn is blown by one of the Caps season ticket holders that brings it to all the games. It is also even more annoying in person.

The power play without a doubt is not producing, but in general all the wings have been nonexistent lately. They are by far my biggest concern right now. Since early in round one, Kunitz and Guerin haven't been a great help to Crosby. Guerin does have the occasional great breakout pass but he needs to score a goal or two. It sure would be nice to see Kunitz get a put back goal like he did in Chicago when he joined the Pens back in the regular season!!!

The same goes for Malkins wings, no matter who they are! No one in Pittsburgh is pulling for Petr Sykora more than me...he needs to get a goal and soon...TONIGHT WOULD BE GOOD!!!

Everyone I talk to is upset with Fleury, and aside from giving up that rebound to the front of the net on Saturday, I thought he played pretty well on Saturday. The other "cheap" goal was him being hung out to dry by Orpik and Feds mixing up their defesiveresponsibilities.

Anyone else ready to see Jordan Staal score a damn goal? He is making it very tough to be critical, but come on already lol...

Mellon Arena needs to be rocking on Wednesday night, even if they come back down 2-0 in the series!!! No repeats of the "white out" funeral parlor atmosphere...

Keep the faith guys, it was only one game of a seven game series.

Lol, Sykora is so damn close and just keeps getting robbed, tonight would be great!!

I actually think Guerin is playing well. He scored a few goals in the post season. Kunitz always hustles but just can't seem to find a goal either. To me, Crosby is the best player on the team. Not only for production but hustle and the passion we had last year during the P/O's.

It just doesnt feel the same as last year for some reason. Mabey it was because we had a shot to go far for the first time in years..

It's been a nice and fun ride, but I think we're playing a better team this time and it shows. Fluery is inconsistant, malkin flat out stinks, just like last year when we needed him.

Mabey Ovechkin should get the MVP award, he looks like one. I'm glad we got to where we did. I never thought it was possible but deep down I knew this was an above average team and nothing more. No way we are going to pull this out. Rant done.

im very frustrated. i feel that were the better team, were just making stupid mistakes. weve controlled a lot of the play. weve had the opportunities and just didnt cash in. its all there. if they can turn the damn pp around we'll def be right back in this thing.

i think kunitz needs to step it up, he fell off this series so far. and what the hell is the d been up to? ugghhhh, just very frustrating.

keep the faith, dont forget we came back from down 3-1 to these scumbags twice before.

    GO PENS!
