One thing I noticed tonight while watching the game from a certain camera shot was how small we look compared to the craps. I really can't believe we beat them tonight away to come back from being down 2-0.
I dont want to hear shit about calls either since the whole game the calls were in the craps favor IMO.

Yea, Cooke did give it to him good along the boards. I think Orpik is still really upset with him after the run he took on him and with the hit on Gonchar. Did you happen to catch the quote during the game Orpik had about Ovechkin? I'm still waiting for him to get a good crack on him too.
As far as the no call in OT on Bouche for interference, thats a great no call. The whole game the offcials didn't call anything, and if they would of called that in that situation at that point of the game I would of lost my mind lol...
Someone else brought up the illegal stick topic on FSN postgame again, and I thought the same thing as they said. Games one and two he was able to gather the puck and shoot the puck with relative ease. He didn't fan on any shots. After it was brought out into the media and made public, now he is fanning on shots and not gathering the puck clean like he was in the first two games?
Maybe now he just isn't using it as much as he was before, with all the buzz about it out in the media now?
I hate talking about it, cause it cheapens the game and everything that happens during the games...but I would not put it past that prick to do it...
Ovechkin is the biggest cheap shot artist in the NHL!
I know he's a star player but the NHL better step up and reprimand him before he hurts someone seriously with one of his, charges, leg sweeps or knee to knee trips!.... I won't be happy until the NHL suspends him or they cart him off the ice in a neck brace and backboard.

So what is the rule's on what an illegal stick is or isn't? I'm assuming it's the curve of the blade? I also realized he has fanned on quite a few shots the last couple of games. I like stiegerwald making fun of semin for ringing pucks off the glass all night.
Agreed, he is big and fast and doesn't care who he hurts. I remember the one caps vs pens game this year when he kept taking runs at malkin all game long. There should be some kind of punishment for that BS.

There has been a few good shots of Ovechkin on the bench with his stick and that thing has a wicked curve to it. Suprised they just don't call him on it early in game when he may still be using it.

Within the first minute of the video, the announcer says "you can measure Ovechkins stick every game, its way out!" Maybe someone needs to check it, especially Monday night when they're against the wall.
Stick rules are 1/2" curve, max as measured with a straight edge from toe to heel (at least this is what AO is guilty of).
There's also max overall length, blade min/max lengths, blade min/max height.
Obviously different rules for the goalie too.
