Well, Pens played a hell of a game tonight..... hard work from all of the lines, and it looked like they had a lot of passion....

I haven't been big on the contract they gave Staal, but he played very well tonight, as he has the last couple games...

I know i'm a Malkin fan, but man, he was a man on a mission tonight! I can't believe he didn't score .... He was playing out of his mind! He and Crosby better get their act together! I really wanna see Geno win the scoring title, and have Crosby come in 2nd

It's funny, anytime our 3rd or 4th lines are productive, we win it seems. I thought we looked great tonight..

If you come out and play your ass off in the 1st period, then have it handed to you like that by the last place team, are you really that good??

Matt cooke, and thomas are playing great anyway.

I hope we don't make the playoffs because that would be embarrasing.

Just when u think they got it all together, they don't! Congrats on Thomas's 2nd goal!! I think they became bi-polar, switchin from THE Penguins who come to play, and then the SUCKguins who kinda come to play, but blow it!

I think they've showed just how good they can be - the problem is, they play to the level of their opponent for some reason....

How on earth can you come out and play an awesome game against the best team in the league, and then not be able to beat the lowly Maple Leafs.. I dunno what it is, but there's something about Toronto that we just can't figure out... they're horrible, and we get pounded by them every single game!

It's wasn't the coaches fault! I feel kinda bad they fired him today. How do u trade half the team from last year, have new different players every game cause of injury's and expect to win. How do u get in a groove, with lines bein different every game. There's been no room for consistantcy. Key players just aren't producin. Chemistry's just not there. It might of takin a year or so to get it together. That's tuff!

X1000, How many baby pens did we watch getting their chance to play in the nhl? All these injury's, new people coming in trying to learn the system. he took them to the cup finals last year. What does shero think, every year the're going to be one of the best teams? Not gonna happen with any team with luck like the pens had this year.

Hossa was nobody special? Conklin? Roberts? Malone?

    This is a good point.

Now, I don't put all the blame on coaches and sometimes they do take a lot on their shoulders, good and bad.

But I can not understand why Hossa even still comes up. Does anyone remember when we were on the top of our division before the trade deadline last year without him? How about the beginning of the season this year when we where sitting pretty good within our conference?

I did like Conklin but he played 10 good games and didn't add any value to the team after that. Roberts was a good person to stir things up but he was also out a lot last year.

Malone was one of their bigger losses but I do not consider any of them to be "key" players. We should be able to win games without them and with the team we have.

I keep watching this team make the same mistakes over and over again. Could it be the players? Sure but you better believe that coaching is to blame too.

We have way too good of a team in raw talent to be sitting in 10th place at 27-25-5.

Lets turn it up NOW! Lets go PENS!!!!

Conklin shut us out the other day.

Hossa helped take us to the finals, thats why I mention him. Those are just a few players we lost. Hall, sydor(sp?), Laraque. Alot of new faces came through this year. Playing some sports through my life I know after playing with select people over a period of time you're that much better. There is no doubt therrian could have done a little better but would anyone else have done any better? I guess time will tell. We do have more of a complete team with gonch back, fedatanko, these hockey names suck trying to spell...Lol.
