We are #4 seed and so are they, does home ice go to the better record of the two?

It goes to the team who has more points if the seeds are the same. Either way, we will be away for the first two games.

so how f'ed up is the cup schedule. if det happens to throw the game tonight the first game wont be til june 5!!! and oh, look, three of their top players are injured. theyre already saying this would be an epic disaster by the nhl if det. loses tonight and wins sat. an entire week off before the cup starts and a week and a half for the pens. hopefully murdertown, usa can win tonight so we can keep on rolling sat.

yeah, if detroit wins tonight the first 2 games will be this saturday and sunday. if they lose, they will be next friday and saturday

I'm actually rooting for Detroit to win tonight... 2 reasons...

1.) I don't want to wait another week and a half to watch another game...
2.) They are a little banged up... if they win tonight, that gives them a little rest, but not a ton, and then we have to play back-to-back games... I think that could benefit the penguins and help them win one of the first two in Detroit
