well today I got a letter from the pens about pricing next year and they actually want to raise prices. My seats are in section a last year thye went up 7 dollars per seat, I was ok with that now thye raise thme from 77 to 83 for next year. I now say good bye to them because I refuse to pay that much to see losers play. The pens are not and never will be a detroit redwings type team. I feel they slapped alot of season ticket holders in the face by raisin prices esp now. That waiting list will not be there shortly.

All lines need to produce more. Yea, Crosby and Malkin are in the points race but I don't see them consistently producing.

No one seems like they want to get back into the playoffs. Playing half ass won't get you anything except a longer off season.

I truly believe it starts with the defense.... I can't stand fluery, but i think if the defense did their job better, then fleury wouldnt give up so many goals...

And any offenseive struggles we have also begin with defense. If you can't get it outta your own end, except to throw it to center, then you're never going to spend any time in the offensive zone in order to score. Good passing fromt the defenseman make it a lot easier to break thru the neutral zone. Defenseman that pinch to keep the puck in make it easier to sustain forechecks...

It all comes down to either a poor defensive system, or poor defensive personnel - or a combination of a little of each........

I've been seeing some VERY poor decision making and a lack of confidence from most on the team.

Even Malkin does some things that leaves you scraching your head. Obviously he makes up for just about anything he does wrong, but it just seems like this team needs to go back to basics. It's getting hard to even watch em anymore. I still do though, Lol.

I see Malkin constantly doing this and He just gets stood up and gets stripped of the puck. Can't believe they went from the cup finals to last place in less than a year, it's crazy.

Yes, but look at the number of penalties he draws doing this also... crosby is the same way... 75% of the time it doesn't work - 5% of the time they score - and 20% of the time it leads to a powerplay.... without that, we'd never get a chance to put our powerplay on the ice! (don't get me started with that!)

Zigomanis was put on IR, which means he's likely done for the year....

Gonchar is doing full practice now - thought I even heard that he's taking hits.... but he says its still very sore after practice - I'd expect a couple more weeks before he comes back...
