What's up with the Pens?

Yea, i often wonder where this "center drive" is that the announcers talk about all the time... our team seems to be the only one that doesn't do it...

I have no problem with the way Crosby adn Malkin play... they make small mistakes, but everyone does that - the problem is that they don't have the talent around them to capitalize on their creativity.... How many times this season have you seen a pass from either one of them go to no-one ... not because it was a bad pass, but b/c other guys just don't think on the same page as them... and you'd think by now that they should know, when the least expect to get the puck, its going to end up on their stick...

On the same token you would expect Malkin and Crosby to see this as leaders and play with the capabilities of their team. I'm not saying they shouldn't try fantastic plays every now and then but I'm so sick of seeing Crosby trying to split the D just to end up getting stripped and the opponent comes back on the attack.

need another win tonight, like sykora said...you can rally all you want and make big strides in a game, but if you dont build on it and get some wins it was all for nothing...i like to think its NOT all for nothing and maybe we all will be talking about this past wednesdays game as being the turning point!

I stayed after the game by the players parking lot and got autographs from talbot, TK, sykora, orpik, cooke, gill, and dupuis. It was kinda cool that it was promo night cuz i had something for them to sign.

Thats pretty awesome.

Commenting on the game last night, I think we played pretty good even though we lost. It simply came down to Detroit taking advantages that were given to them (Fleury's rebounds) and some missed opportunities on our part.

Better rebound control equates to one goal for them and we missed the back of the net on at least three occasions.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully they can add the fact that they played good and could have won that game to their other two wins and keep up the momentum. San Jose on Wednesday. Lets hope for another W.

My G-friend surprised me today with tickets for Wednesday's game! I'm really excited I haven't been to many games over the past few years.
