I haven't heard anything about him. They better not trade him. That's the one jersey I have that isn't signed. If they get rid if him, I'll have to get a different jersey to wear to the games.

agreed! i think staal is a really good player, as is whitney...but they "need" to trade those guys to fill in where they are lacking on this roster right now...

staal is a top line center on alot of teams and he is only 20, and whitney is the top offensive defenseman on alot of teams coming into his prime...where the Pens are strong right now are center obviously, and have tons of defense to pick and choose from at this point...

so to trade staal and whitney its out of need, not cause they arent great players!
