I've about seen enough of the line jumbling.... You don't see the same line on the ice for two consecutive shift patterns.... he's jumbling them up so much, i don't see how they can get a feel for each other - its like Therrien all over again suddenly....
The team just isn't looking sharp again tonight - i hope they prove me wrong in the last 40 mins...
Geno doesn't look like himself... and it doesnt help that he spends most of his shift in the defensive zone.. and when they get it in the offensive zone, Sykora just doesn't exist... i really liked his production last year, but man has he dissapeared the last half of this year... and when the puck goes to the wall, I might as well be out there trying to get the puck... and i can't ****in' skate...

I don't get it.... I understand, you don't want guys to get hurt, but its not some pu$$y sport - those guys can take care of themselves... I really feel that both Crosby and Malkin should have been on the ice to put the puck in the empty net....
Douche-kin had 2 points tonight too, so that cancels out Geno's 2 points tonight.... It'd be nice to put a pounding on NYI Thursday the way that the Hurricanes did tonight (9-0)!

It would of been nice for Malkin to feed Crosby for the trick on the empty net, but like you said...keep them healthy! The way Tampa Bay was playing tonight, it would not have surprised to see someone take a cheap shot on one of them.
Better to be safe than sorry...but I feel the frustration with seeing ass clown getting 2 points too...just look at the bigger picture. Thats the only thing to do!
The Islanders are coming in at a good time! Hope we take advantage of it!

Those two aren't the best defensive players, nor do they need to be blocking shots & crap either. It was only a 1 goal game until the empty net, and any sane coach will put his best defensive players on the ice to protect a 1 goal lead with <1 minute left.

got a little halfassed in the third and they were playing with no fear what so ever and they got a few past us. i hate when we take leads for granted. none the less a good win and locks up the playoffs!!!
id love to see philthy, but i wouldnt mind destroying nj. i hate them almost as much.
its a toss up with havin them out there at the end. you have some d-bags, like the dude with the flying elbow at malkin, that might go for the injury. we have the islanders to beat up on and the habs might be out of the playoffs when we play them so theres more chances for points.

I disagree.. Malkin is a responsible defensively as it gets.... both Crosby and Malkin can win the puck on the wall and/or keep it on the wall if necessary... I think you put your hardest working, most talented players on the ice.... guys that will take the puck away, not just block a shot and give it back....
Either way, i don't want to sound like a disgruntled fan... I'm a die-hard Pens fan - i just don't understand some things, even when the Pens are winning... maybe its easier when sitting on the couch...

There's a real good reason you don't see Crosby/Malkin on the PK.
And I disagree about them being the hardest working on the ice, the dudes called up from W-B are always the hardest working. Those guys play hockey like fat girls ****. The current shift/lay may be your last, so better give it 110%!!!:)
