I went to both games in Florida. The Bank Atlantic Center is really beautiful inside and out and well maintained. Free parking lots right outside the arena. Nice wide CARPETED hallways inside. Bathrooms were also big and CLEAN. There was a great selection of food. No vendors walking the stands. Ticket prices were cheaper than we pay here. Really gets you psyched to be in our new arena. St. Pete Times Forum was nice also. There was a large activity area outside with vendors, lots of kids activities, dunk tank with a guy with a Pens jersey on, etc. Hot looking cheerleaders dancing on the one end of the arena most of the game. They also cleaned the ice on some of the time outs ON SKATES. Lots of pay parking lots and garages around the arena. There was 1 white guy (with rhythm) playing the 5 gallon bucket outside the arena and he was really good. There were probably 100 people standing around him listening and cheering him on. Ticket prices in Tampa were closer to what we pay. Both games were probably 30% or more Pens fans and a lot of the people there were just in regular clothes (Not much team spirit). Wish I would have taken a camera along. Great experience.

first off fluery is in no way horrible and ur an idiot staal plays with 3rd line scrubs who should be in the ahl what can u expect hes a top liner on some teams

He's not bad, just a little more inconsistant than most on the team IMO.

Every 10 games you hear errey say staal's flying out here tonight, why not every night? One thing that irritates me about Fluery is how he makes a save standing on his head then the next shot from the blue line trickles in, to many soft goals get past him. I think he's a great goalie but thats one thing I noticed..

BTW, the islanders are a complete joke. they just keep getting pounded, Lol.

actually watch staal dont listen to bob errey hes always back checking hard hes amazing on the pk ill take over 20 goals and almost 50 points out of a 20 year old playin on the third line with matt cooke who has no offensive ability

I do watch the games and players, every one this year actually and I still disagree with you.

Cooke has no offensive ability?? He's way more physical than staal and has just as good of hands.

Uh, I hate the Flyers on so many different personal levels.

It was good to see the Pens battle back into the playoffs and then secure home ice advantage. Who the hell would have thought that two months ago? I mean, I had hope but they were still a far way from actually accomplishing it.

Mark Madden did a piece on the Flyers last Monday. I actually heard it as I was driving out to Monroeville to pick up my tickets to the "shirt of your back" game. Now, I hated MM in the past but I do enjoy him a bit more now after I heard him talk about the Flyers.

To sum it up: he basically said Flyers style of hockey (being rough, physical and intimidating) doesn't work obviously, because they haven't won a Stanley Cup since the mid 70's. Also, he mentioned that their fans keep thinking they are the best team even though they can't bring the cup back home and continue to exit the playoffs with disappointment. He said that they are some of the worst fans in hockey. He then concluded after going on and on that the Flyers and their suck by stating that if a Flyers fan has a gun, he or she should shoot and kill themselves.

So therefore, one can conclude that MM thinks that the Flyers are a terribly awful team and all their fans should shoot themselves.

He said all of this on the air and I had to LOL a bit.
