What's up with the Pens?

I've seen numerous times tonight, they had 3 guys within a 15 foot circle lookin like they're all trying to play the same position. Philly constantly had plays setting up, Pens skate down and try to make something happen with no design. Alot of puck mishandling as well. As long as there winning though...Aside from Fluery, I don't see them going to far in the playoffs, I'll keep watchin though.

Flyers are real good at setting up "the box" and cycling the puck on and off the powerplay.

They had like 8 chances on the powerplay and we shut down one of the best powerplays. Kudos to the pens.

I thought they looked real strong. I would like to see a littler better puck cycling in our offensive zone but it isn't anything that I don't think they can correct going forward. They did have a few times they cycled well and had a few good chances on net.

I am with you on the penalty killing. Jordan Staal and Craig Adams both have been outstanding doing their thing out there, not to mention Scuderi and Gill.

Its never going to be pretty when you play the Flyers, ever. No matter how much we out "talent" them or how much they out "stupid" us.

I refuse to complain, or try and break down what needs improved after a win. Maybe when I get on the books with the Pens I'll do that. Till then...

I think the Flyers have some really decent players, but they are in Philly so I have a hard time giving them any sort of credit or respect.

Biron is doing all he can in this series. For whatever reason the Flyers faithfull see him as the weak link, and maybe he is when you see a performance like Fleury had tonight. But to me look at the Flyers depth...it really drops off once you get past that top six.

What the hell is Briere even doing in Philly? He fits in there as much as I would...

What I loved tonight other then Fluery just playing outstanding goal tonight. Was the fact the Pens kept away from any stupid crap the Flyers tried to get them into. Unlike game 3 where the Pens got suckered into a whole lotta stupid.

True except that one penalty that Cookie took. When he took that we were saying that we can not fall into that trap of taking stupid retaliation penalties and they really didn't tonight.

I would say definitely no on the Goddard for Adams idea. As for Sykora, he really has not produced a lot lately but I don't see pulling him for Satan. I think you have recognize that he's your guy and you stick with him.
