Be odd since they had just annouced few days ago that the convertible was a go again and that all production of coupes were pushed back till March.
If true it's a stupid move on GM's part as they need something that sells and I think the Camaro will sell.

If it is dead then GM's in a lot worst shape then they are letting on! Im not a bow tie fan at all but they definitely need something to sell and we need someone to push ford to keep putting more power under the hood of the mustang!

Even though they need something to sell, I don't feel the Camaro is it. It's a niche vehicle and with the crappy economy maybe they've decided it's not the right time..
They need to bring back the Vega and chevette.

the bulk of the money spent on R&D would be thrown away if they didn't produce them, so I can't see them not trying to get at least a big chunk of their money back out of the camaro program. Where did you hear it? Did you confirm it on jalponik or anything?
